Kelvin Rodriguez was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. His passion for dance developed at the age of 16 while taking weekly tap classes at his local dance studio. As the years passed, his passion for dance grew to new limits and the decision of furthering his dance education came easy. Kelvin chose to attend Slippery Rock University to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance with a concentration in Performance and Choreography. While at SRU, he received extensive training in many dance genres such as Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Bharatanatyam, and Afro-Colombian. During his time at SRU, he has performed works by Martha Graham, Jesse Factor, Lindsay Viatori, Francine Ott, and many of his peers. After spending time away from home, Kelvin decided to move back to Lancaster and is excited to delve into the dance scene his home has to offer.
