Ages 16 – Adult
Get ready to move! This class combines some basic dance choreography with cardiovascular exercise to create a FUN workout.
Benefits of Dance Fitness:
- Promotes cardiovascular health by elevating your heart rate, improving circulation, and increasing endurance.
- Increases flexibility and range of motion. Stretching is incorporated into the warmup and cool down which is essential in preventing injuries and allowing for overall betting physical movement.
- Stimulates the release of endorphins, natural mood enhancers, in the brain. This helps reduce and relieve stress leading to a more positive well being.
- Builds confidence and self-esteem while fostering relationships amongst adults that enjoy moving to music.
What to Wear:
Comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Please avoid overly baggy clothing. Clean, non-marking sole sneakers or dance sneakers.
Class Times:
This class runs in 6 week sessions during the 2024-2025 season allowing for flexibility with busy schedules. Register for one session or all five depending upon your interest and what your schedule allows.
